In many cases the best thing our government can do to create jobs is to get out of the way and let the entrepreneurship and the free market principles that our nation was founded upon to thrive.

Our small business owners and Louisiana based businesses want to grow. If we work to eliminate government red tape, taxes and other disincentives that slow down small businesses, our businesses will create more jobs, improve wages and grow our economy.

As someone who founded and operated a successful small business supporting the oil and gas industry, and as someone who works with south Louisiana employers everyday as a business attorney, I understand what businesses need to create jobs.

Our oil and gas, fishing, agriculture, and tourism industries are critical to south Louisiana and I will work to protect them from needless government regulation and free them from over taxation to reach their full potential.

Good paying jobs and economic growth will be near the top of my agenda each and every day.
