As is the case whenever a liberal has their record in government shown to the people, their response is to falsely attack their opponent. Here is the truth about Mr. Downer’s attack on Jeff…

Jeff shares your concern that we have the most ethical and honest person possible representing us in Washington. 

Jeff Landry has been a successful small businessman in the oil and gas industry who employed dozens. He is running for Congress to create jobs for the people of South Louisiana.

The only time Jeff faced tough business negotiations involving the courts was years ago in a case that Jeff ultimately won after previous  decisions were reversed and the company that attacked Jeff admitted fault and paid Jeff’s company – not the other way around as liberal Hunt Downer would have you believe.

Jeff Landry’s business attorneys chose to countersue the other company in a different jurisdiction – Jeff won and the false lawsuit from the Jones Bros company was dropped and they settled.

Mr. Hunt Downer is a trial lawyer. He has multiple lawsuits under his belt, including lawsuits against the state. Mr. Downer knows his attacks are baseless, but he continues anyway. He cannot defend his liberal record so he is attacking based on nothing.
